Biography

Joshua, influenced by his father’s musical talent, developed a strong technical vision of music at an early age, expressing his passion through the bass guitar in gospel and rock bands.

Fascinated by the pocket groove of digital basslines in dance music, he began collecting records in 2014, quickly becoming the music selector for his friends and coworkers alike.

In the August of 2024, Josh and his wife honeymooned in Spain, visiting the legendary clubs in Ibiza, inspiring him to pursue DJing. That fall, MacinJosh threw Tenant-Fest Boston as DJ and MC.

Since then, he has secured a prominent residency with the Reload collective at BSMNT Boston, sharing the stage with some of Boston’s best DJs and getting recognition for his eclectic talent in record selection and party curation.
